Like the sand dropping through an hourglass, a girl starts counting each moment waiting for her parents to come home on her birthday but the parents are too busy to spare any time with her to cherish. An hourglass looks the same from either side and works the same way even if it's turned upside down. This film is like an hourglass in this aspect too, with its quite a novel narrative technique that looks the same from start to end or the other way round!
